From prisoner to captain shouldn't be possible but, as a dandy, Nat wields information like a weapon.
Nobody on the ship knows about Nat's history, who they were before landing in that cell. And Nat wants to keep it that way.
But the Pirate Lord of Shenai is just as much of an information trader as Nat, and he has a simple piece of post that will undo all Nat's careful hiding.
